Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 30 June 2026
These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Boadu Legal Services ("BLS", "we", "us") website, booking system, client portal and services. By using the site or booking a consultation, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or our services.
1. About us
Boadu Legal Services is a UK consultancy providing legal and business consultancy, case preparation, document assistance and strategic guidance. We are currently awaiting SRA authorisation. We do not provide reserved legal activities, regulated legal representation or solicitor services unless and until such authorisation is granted. Where your matter requires reserved legal activities, we may refer you to a suitably authorised legal professional.
- Trading name: Boadu Legal Consultancy
- Location: West Midlands, United Kingdom
- Email: info@boadulegalservices.com
- Telephone: +44 7747 234225
2. Scope of services
Our services are limited to consultancy, information and support. We do not act as solicitors or barristers and nothing on this site constitutes legal advice in the regulated sense. Any guidance we provide is general or specific to your matter based on the information you supply, but it is not a substitute for formal legal representation where that is required.
We will always be clear about what we can and cannot do for you. If your matter falls outside our scope, we will tell you promptly and, where appropriate, suggest a referral.
3. Booking and payment
Consultations are booked through our online booking system. When you confirm a booking, you enter into a contract with us for that consultation.
- Free Discovery Call (15 minutes): no charge. You may cancel or reschedule without penalty up to 24 hours before the scheduled time.
- Strategy Consultation (45 minutes, £145): payment is taken at the time of booking via Stripe. Cancellations or rescheduling requests made at least 24 hours in advance may be refunded or moved to a new slot at your choice.
- Matter Assessment Consultation (60 minutes, £295): payment is taken at the time of booking via Stripe. The same 24-hour notice period applies for cancellations and rescheduling.
All fees are quoted in GBP and include VAT where applicable. We do not store your payment card details; these are handled securely by Stripe.
4. Cancellations, rescheduling and refunds
You can cancel or reschedule a paid consultation through the link in your confirmation email, provided you give at least 24 hours' notice. If you cancel within 24 hours of the appointment, or fail to attend, we reserve the right to retain the fee.
If we need to cancel or reschedule, we will notify you as soon as possible and offer an alternative time or a full refund. Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5 to 10 business days.
For free Discovery Calls, repeated no-shows may result in restricted access to future bookings.
5. Client obligations
When you instruct us or book a consultation, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information.
- Inform us promptly of any changes relevant to your matter.
- Attend consultations on time, or notify us in advance if you cannot.
- Not use our services for any unlawful purpose.
- Keep your portal login credentials confidential.
We are not responsible for delays or adverse outcomes caused by incomplete or inaccurate information supplied by you.
6. Confidentiality
We treat all information you share with us as confidential. We will not disclose it to third parties without your consent, except where required by law or where we refer you to another professional with your permission. Our full data-handling practices are set out in our Privacy Policy.
7. Intellectual property
All content on this website, including text, images, branding and code, is the property of Boadu Legal Services or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may view and print pages for personal use only. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify or republish content without our written permission.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms or our services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific consultation or service giving rise to the claim.
We are not liable for any indirect, consequential or economic loss, including loss of profit, business or data, even if we were advised of the possibility of such loss. This does not limit liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.
9. Third-party links and referrals
Our site may contain links to third-party websites or referrals to external legal professionals. We are not responsible for the content, practices or availability of those third parties. Any referral is made in good faith but does not constitute a recommendation or guarantee of service quality.
10. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from these Terms or our services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
We encourage you to contact us first if you have a complaint. We will respond promptly and aim to resolve matters fairly.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated "last updated" date. Continued use of the site or services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
