The Consultation Journey
From first enquiry to clear next steps
A structured, transparent path so you know what to expect at every stage.
The five stages
How the consultation journey works
- 01
Initial Enquiry
Every journey begins with a short, confidential enquiry. Share a brief outline of your situation and preferred contact method — we respond within one working day.
- 02
Consultation Booking
We offer a complimentary Discovery Call, a focused Strategy Consultation and a paid Matter Assessment. You choose the format that fits your matter and budget.
- 03
Matter Assessment
In your booked session we surface the immediate risks, timelines and the practical options available. You leave with clarity about what needs to happen and why.
- 04
Legal Guidance
Where support is needed, we scope the work transparently — with fixed-fee options where possible — and prepare the documentation, statements or applications required.
- 05
Next Steps
You receive a written follow-up summarising the recommendations and clear next actions — whether that is proceeding with BLS, a referral to authorised representation, or simply an informed decision.
Frequently asked
Consultation questions
- Do I need to know which service I want before booking?
- No. A Discovery Call is the right first step if you're unsure. We help you determine the right service area and format before any paid engagement.
- What's the difference between the consultation formats?
- The Discovery Call is complimentary and up to 15 minutes; the Strategy Consultation is 45 minutes and priced at £145; the Matter Assessment is a deeper session for complex matters. Full details are on the booking page.
- Can consultations be recorded?
- Consultations are not recorded by default, but we can prepare a written summary of the discussion on request as part of a Strategy Consultation or Matter Assessment.
- What happens if I need reserved legal representation?
- Where formal representation is required — for example advocacy at court or Home Office representation — we refer to authorised solicitors and can continue to support you in preparation alongside them.
